The Burj Al Arab is one of the most famous hotels in the world. It is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the only hotel with seven stars in on the planet.
Any list of Dubai attractions must contain the Burj Al Arab. Although Dubai has many architectural wonders the Burj is one of the landmarks which shape the appearance of the whole city. The hotel itself was built on an artificial island linked to the mainland in the year 1994. The development took a few years and the results were impressive. The Burj Al Arab is in the shape of the sail of an Arabian type of sailboat. Actually it contains two sails ( wings ) which form a letter V and the space between the wings is a huge attrium. The materials used are the topmost quality both on the construction outside and the furniture and equipment inside the hotel.
The Burj Al Arab offers everything that money can buy to it’s guests : luxury hotel rooms, extraordinary restaurants, nightclubs, bars, spa and health club. The prices are accordingly very high, but this is natural in a seven star hotel. The term ” seven star ” officially does not exist but if it would exist the Burj Al Arab would most definitely meet this criteria.
During our visit to Dubai we can not miss to see the Burj Al Arab hotel the most impressive building known to mankind. It is truly an architectural masterpiece.
