Great Dubai Wheel December 4, 2009

Dubai is touristic center in the region of the Middle East. One of the future Dubai attraction will be the Great Dubai Wheel, the future worlds largest observational wheel. The wheel will be located in Dubailand, a Disneyworld-like amusement park which is currently under construction.

Dubailand will be the largest theme park on the planet and it will include a wide variety of projects. Some of these projects are already functional and open to the tourists but most of them are still under development.

The Great Dubai Wheel will be 185 meter tall and it will be taller than the London Eye. The projected cost of the construction of such wheel will be over 250 million AED. After completion the Great Wheel will be the largest of its kind and the visitors will be able to view distances up to 50km. This observation wheel will have 30 luxury capsules and they will offer the out most comfort to its visitors. But, unfortunately for the Dubai constructors, China will have a larger observational wheel.

The project of the Great Wheel is already under construction and it is expected to be finished by the end of 2009.
